I know we all have our rights. Our human rights.
That we have the freedom to do whatever we like and want so long it does not fall out of the legal rights, rules and regulations.
Still, there is still huge greyish area which really should be brought out to everyone.
Public awareness. Public behaviour. What's appropriate and what's not.
Take for example this morning.
I was in the MRT train. Within the same area, sitted at one corner was a loud, really loud speaking young woman who was very clearly quarrelling on the phone while seems to be reading on her notes.
The thing is, ALL of us have no desire to know about YOUR personal life?!!!
Gosh...
She was so oblivious in her own world despite being inside a public transportation.
I know this is your freedom. But you are causing such a nuisance to everyone else.
omg...
Seriously, what are these people or she is thinking?

Mysterious Skin
Finally, i watched "Mysterious Skin". Almost 3 years after its debut. I didn't managed to make it to the big screen like i did for "Brokeback Mountains" then.
In fact, it was 2 nights ago that i caught it. But till now, i still have the disturbing feeling.
Child abuse... paedophile... gay...
Gosh...
The complex human mind.
Why and how on earth do they and were they thinking of?
Human rights?
The right to love any one. really any one?
Is that love?
What is right. What is appropriate?
Ewww.... sick ... feel so sick by those people.
Brilliant performance by Gordon Lewitt. Hope i didn't get his name wrong.
Now that he has grown up from the "3rd rock from the sun" and "10 things i hate about you", he has that uncanningly striking resemblance to the late Heath Ledger. And i miss Heath so much...

A Movie Date
It has been quite sometime for both of us to enjoy a date.
Okay, though i gotta admit that the Bintan weekend getaway was barely weeks ago but that can't be counted, does it?
Anyway, on the eve of the 'Good Friday", i truly enjoy my time with B.
We went for a peek-a-boo at the much hype about mall at Tampines.
Crowded. Crowded Crowded. So crowded that the escalator was down. Geez...
Then a nice but reallllyyy long awaited dinner at BaliThai. Imagine B had came back to the restaurant with the movie tickets that he had Q for, with him being the no. 31st and yet the food were still not arrived!!!
As the movie was only showing at 11plus, we had to find something to do. We need to kill time.
Killiney kopitiam was chosen to rest our feet and hence began our 'playing'.

Random...
It's rather interesting to have some really personal some 'me' time once a while.
While i was just simply browsing around, shopping around aimlessly the other time, i saw some of these interesting qoutes.
"Insanity is inhereditary. You get it from the kids"
"You don't have to have lots of money and be rich. You just need to have lots of money."
And this was overheard from a radio station which seriously i love the DJs, their style of program and their wit.
"I can't agree with the idea of Botox. What's with these people? Oh ok, i get it. These people who love and did Botox are because it will leak and paralyses their brains."
The Art of aging gracefully.
It's a matter of growing up because growing old is mandatory. But growing up is optional.

"Crossing Over"
It has been a long while since i last watched a movie on my own.
In fact, ever since i was with B, i had not watch any by myself.
So yesterday, i got myself a tix to "Crossing Over".
Very nice.
Although, the development of each of the characters are not being blown to the fullest, it is easily compensated by the skills of the actors and actresses. It's impossible not to feel the way they are in the story. You can almost find yourself in their roles and weep and cry foul to the world why everything is so unfair and unjustice to them.
Fairtrade is not a word in their dictionary.
Everyone of us are craving for a better life. But we are not all given the same opportunity.
What touches me very deeply was the young teenage girl who was deported out just because of her curosity in the religous studies and her courage for speaking out what she had felt.
Nothing is ever fair. But we are seek for the same thing. The reason of our existence in this world. Don't we?
There probably never be equal footing for all in this world. But while we still can and within our means and capabilities, there are still so many people out there, doing their best and working hard to get the best.
There was a pleasant surprise while watching this movie. *chuckles* Jim Sturgess also acted in it. *smiling* He's so cute!!! Already "fallen" for him in "21". I can almost placed him together in the same league as Josh Hartnett.
I'm so waiting for more of his movies, that is if its well-written and plotted.
Am i starting soon on my journey of movie watching???
Hmm.. maybe i should consider.
Fast and the Furious 4 is a definitely Can't miss out!!!
Shinjuku incident too!!!
Departures are leaving soon... argh!!!
*sigh...
