Pics of my botak dear and me...

These are the pics of my B and me. So happen that both of us are not fanatic about photo taking and hence, the lack of photos. Even if there is, it's once in a blue moon.
Have to say though that it seems a little indecent with him without his top on. Lolx...
All these are taken on my birthday this year. Did nothing special, due to the weather, B unable to bring me to ECP and see me falling on my fours. (Actually, i'm kinda thankful coz who else in their sound mind would wanna fall on their fours on their birthday? Duh... haha...)
It has been quite a 'long' journey for B and me lately. And i can only say that i really really appreciate B. What has past has past. B is the present which i wanna hold onto now and continuing.
I can't wait for our zoo trip that he has promised me next month. =)

...
i was chided for being selfish .
i admit i am .
all for the cause of not bogging someone else down .
for not making my problems to someone else .
so i was wrong .

all for the cause of not bogging someone else down .

so i was wrong .
can i die?
it was ok for a long while .
work n B .
till that feeling came knocking on my door .
uncontrollable tears .
my nick on msn was nobody's child and it's still is .
tears flowed and dried .
not knowing there was another shock awaiting .
slowly creeping onto me .
a simple life is all i want .
but i can achieve none .

Month of Birthdays
What a month full of birthdays...
Chloe's, Roy's, Crabby's and lastly, my own. (Then in the office, there is June's on the 4th and Chen on the 8th. The whole lot of us are getting sick of cakes soon. Imagine having to eat 3 birthday cakes in a month. That's just too often, isn't it?)
But wasn't out celebrating much though.
Didnt join Chloe's ktv session, but had a wonderful time the next day with her, Steven and of course my botak dear for just a simple pizza dinner and a movie.
Caught the Pan's Labyrinth.
Her birthday present was a small bouquet of lovely pink roses. =)
Roy's birthday was spent at Thailand, and his early celebration was when i was down with fever. So i couldn't join him and his gang for drinks. No present for him yet because at lost at what to get for him. Wait till he's back from Thailand first.
Then, today is Crabby's birthday which all i ever did was a birthday sms. *so ashamed of myself* I must admit i have been neglecting Crabby.
But actually, things are just not the same anymore. Not since what i have hear from Minz about crabby. What Minz said had confirmed the doubts and what i truly felt about crabby. I had wish those instincts were malfunctioned. And that what crabby had done before and said before were all true to what she meant.
Some might ask, i should clarify the matters. Sigh, if only things can be as simple as that. Nonetheless, her present is for sure unforgotten.
As for myself, no intention of celebrating in any ways. Taking a AL on the actual day. Nothing planned. But deep inside, i know im wishing my dear dear to have something special arrange. Hmmm... but the point is, he had surprised me on many occasions. But not on specials days nor days meant for celebrating and making joy and merry. So the question is, will he do something nice, special and touching or will the day be like the norm.
On the other side, norm day is fine with me too for his presence makes up alot and which many times, just two of us being together, even if its just telly watching, i'm contented.
What do i want? Hmmm... what do women want?

Good Start
Seems like 2007 has a good start for the people around me.
There are those who got attached. Having someone to dote them, appreciate them and loving them.
There are others who are blissfully married and now, doubling the happiness is the soon arrival of the piglets into the family.
Felt so happy for these people. =)
As for me? I'm too happily indulging in my vitamin B, which stands for botak. =D

Translation From "Women's Dictionary"
Tao3 Yan4-
It describes the man whom the lady fancy and / or likes and or / deeply in love with, has done and / or said something which pleases the lady so, making the lady on cloud nine. The 'tao yan' response is given to the man simply because she refuses to acknowledge that the fact that she is happy and all joy in order not to make the man feel COCKY (proud).

Common Sense
I don't get it. Simply don't get it.
There is this lady standing along the passageway of a mall, apparantly searching for some thing in her bag and didn't realised she was blocking the way because there were others who stood near her too. Came this man (can i call him Grouchy Old Man?) who had to pause because there was no way for him to pass through at all. Probably thinking the lady would budge away but she was too engrossed in turning her bag upside down.
By this time, the GOM's face turned very very ugly and so black, it's almost charcoal. It wasn't minutes later did the GOM was able to walk through and get away.
All that was needed is just a simple 'Excuse me'. Don't bother to say? Don't blame others for not 'zi dong'.

The Last Night Of 2006
I vowed not to head out any more in the eve of such nights. Be it Christmas...New Year's...Lunar New Year... etc etc etc...
Unless it's a house party and at less crowded areas. Or there is transport gaurantee!
I had such difficulty in getting a cab on the 31st. No no... in CALLING a cab!!! It took me 35mins to get through, 5mins to speak to an operator and lastly 3mins in hearing a cab no. God bless!!!

'Sorry' Misinterpreted
I noticed a common word often said out by Singaporeans in situations whereby it is not necessary.
And that is -sorry.
Why should people say sorry when they needed others to give way to them. Sorry for? Shouldn't it be a 'Excuse me and thank you'? Or that the people felt sorry is a better word because they are causing inconvenient to others. But hey, public place belong to everyone. What inconvenient you are referring to?
The latter is to tell others that you needed space and then thank them for making way. Definitely not sorry. Unless that is you bumped into them accidentally. Just don't be surprised by people who purposefully knocked onto you and acompanied with a sorry. Now that is unforgiven even if you said millions of sorry. That is just equivalent to killing someone and saying you didn't mean to. Abit of exaggeration here. Haaha...
Back to the point.
As well as during window shopping in shops when they give back the unwanted items to the sales staff. The most appropriate sentence wouldn't be 'it doesn't fit, thank you', instead, they will say, sorry. And for what reason again??? If the person is making a huge mess in the store by flipping all the folded items and / or tried several clothings but opt for nothing in the end, that perhaps does account for a sorry. But isn't this an extrene case scenario? Usually and commonly, the most appropriate or rightful words, should be-thank you. Thank them and not sorry to them.
Sorry is just over-used, over-rated and Thank you is under-used and under-rated.
